Elyse Waters

Registered Physiotherapist | MPT, DPT, OMPT

Elyse completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario (2009) and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2012. After she began treating patients, she enrolled in a 2-year manual therapy program at Oakland University (Rochester, MI) to further develop her manual therapy skill set. In 2015 she completed this post-graduate certification and received her Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist (OMPT) credentials. This certification sculpted Elyse’s diagnostic talents and has given her the ability to offer a wide range of manual therapy techniques including joint and spinal manipulation to her clients. From there, she went on to complete her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at Oakland University and also became certified to perform dry needling techniques.

In 2020, Elyse decided to launch the Team Rehab company and is here to promote a fitness forward approach to helping you feel your best. She has a special interest in treating the sports population but loves helping patients of any age reach their health and fitness goals. Outside of the clinic, Elyse enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is an avid fitness goer and enjoys running, lifting weights, watersports, horseback riding, and being outdoors. She keeps in shape at The Garage Gym and believes that everyone should have a physiotherapist to consult to ensure your performance is at it’s best. With a proactive approach to injury, Elyse is here to help patients of all fitness levels get back to what they love quickly and wants all of her clients to be able to perform even better than they were before.

Dr. Kyle has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor (2015) and went on to earn his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic medicine at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2019. His four-year chiropractic education consisted of specialized training in joint manipulation, soft tissue stretching, therapeutic rehabilitation, and functional integrated acupuncture. He commonly utilizes movement assessment and functional ability screens to determine an individual’s limitations. He practices and promotes a whole-body approach and works to develop individualized treatment plans to treat and eliminate common aches and pains for each of his patients.
